MP3 issues

I just rebuilt my computer and re0installed all of me programs again.
I'm working on a photo montage with music files (mp3). Everything sounds good when editing, but once I burn it to DVD the music sounds echo'ish. It has to be the MP3 files, becuase my wedding videos that I recorded sound fine. Any ideas on what this could be and how to correct it? I'ms using Vegas 6.0 DVD 3.0
Thank you,
ErIc

Try rendering the mp3 files to wav and see how that sounds.
I haven't any real clue as to what's going on but rendering to wav first and using those in your project might bypass the problem. Of course if the mp3s have the echo all ebts are off.

Thank you again,

Where are you testing the DVD? got some reverb setting turn on on your sound system?

? I'm testing it on my computer first, then playing it on my DVD player in my living room. It only seems to be mp3 music. All other music files sound fine.
Thank you

it must be your mp3's then since you said when you rendered them to WAV's it still sounded the same. I've NEVER had a problem using mp3's in Vegas. Mine are all rendered eigther at high quality VBR or 320kb (there's some exceptions but thsoe work fine too).
