mp3 plugin?

old question. sorry to take your time.
Hard drive crashed - reloaded everything but now I can't move mp3 files to the time line. What's this?
Am I missing a plugin?
Where do I find it?
I'm in a hurry of course. The peace and security of the free world are at stake.

I have Vegas 5.

Yes, I loaded build 194 or something and I'm back in business. Thank you.
Saw Vegas 7 at WEVA annual meeting last week. Sony had representation but they were pushing other Sony products as well, like their cameras. The FCP booth was full. Avid, few attendees. Lots in interest in Adobe Premier. When asked I tell people I use vegas to which the frequent response is "What's that" though some fellow videographers are invious. I'm staying with this product unless it just becomes obvious Sony is abandoning it. Queries to the product 's future to the Sony staff at the show were defensive and a bit hostile. Me, I'm too politically ignorant to understand if there's a trend here or just mis-information.

Think I'm talking to myself.

We're listening, Sony isn't. Thanks for the WEVA update.
