MP3 within Quicktime

Any one know if there is a way when rendering out quicktimes(.mov) from Vegas to have the imbedded sound in the mp3 format?

When doing long format wip quicktimes to send to clients(via internet) for approval we can get good quality pictures at low file sizes - sorenson3 - but the sound files increase the file size too much. MP3 seems to be such a good format to use, and I would presume that practically every computer supports it - but how do I render it in a quicktime?
Vegas has a myriad of sound compression options without any recommendations as to which one to use to get universal compatibility from most people playing back the QT.
Any suggestions what is a universal sound compression format for use in a QT and supported in Vegas?

OT: Vegas 7.0 - can't wait for Black Magic faultless support (like PPro I hope)
Love the work the Madison guys do - I think vegas is the ants-pants.

MP3 in Quicktime within Vegas - don't know a way to do that.

But if you have QuicktimePro it can be done in the QuicktimePlayerPro itself.
Just open your video in one player and the mp3 sound in another player. Now use the Quicktime editing facilities to copy the mp3 layer of the one player and insert it into the other player. Save again.
