I am importing MP3 files 128 kb recorded from a Marantz Compact Flash recorder. I save them to my local drive and then open them in Vegas 4.O. They play the first 2 minutes or so fine. If I click further into the file, say 8 or 9 minutes in., the program locks up. Same thing in Sound Forge.
The files play fine in all other audio programs, ie Nuendo, Samplitude, or Cool edit even Windows Media player. This is weird. Any body Know how to fix this?
