I have just done - again - an MPEG4 render. Vegas6c took a 56 second AVI piece - 256 mbs - and reduced this to . . .4.4mbs! The quality, to me, looks amazing. I have the latest QT player 7 and viewed the piece. I'm totally amazed. 256mbs down to 4.4mbs . .. terrific! The Audio sounds excellent too!

Thanks SONY for implementing this. My Uploads and download times are gonna be easier .. .

Grazie

I don't see mpg4 as a save as type in the Vegas renderer. What did you use?

... and to see the render option Grazie mentions, you have to have the latest (6.0c I believe) update for Vegas.

Looks pretty good!

But doesn't work with network render with the distributed option. Rips through all the individual sections, but then the stitcher fails. Complains that the avi's generated aren't valid media.

I don't think it is a license issue as with MP3 or AC3, since it fails with distributed using only 1 computer.

Am I missing something?
