I just upgraded from SV9(64) to SV11(64) ... never got around to SV10. In general I like the new features, although I am still getting used to the new UIs for the FX dialogs. However, I was having a terrible time with Main Concept MP4 rendering ... took forever, and lots of crashes.
I work in a PC-based company, but there are few MAC guys and they can't read WMV, so I send them MP4.
Anyway ... in the Main Concept-MP4 settings, I found an Encode Mode drop-down that defaults to Automatic. I found that if I change that to CPU Only, it works great, but I wonder why this codec can't take advantage of my "powerful" GPU.
I guess I shouldn't complain too much. SV11 still renders quite a bit faster ... 13:04 vs 22:25 with SV9 for my test project ... but ...
Any techie thoughts or feedback would be appreciated ... am I missing something?
Thanks!
