mp4 video footage, add blackbars on bottom and top?

Hello!

I have some mp4 video footage I would like to add blackbars on bottom and top.
The video files are 1920x960 and I would like to make them 1920x1080.
That would be 60 extra on top and bottom.
Is there an fairly easy way to do this? Without losing any quality?
The files will get larger but it's not a problem.
A batch mode would be great then I can run the reencodes overnight.

Using Vegas Pro on Win7.

Try a black Media Generator solid color on the entire videotrack beneath the your video track.

Oh man... Cornico, your'e a lifesaver!! Never thought it would be that easy! Been racking my brains out fiddling around with Event Pan/Crop... I'm so relieved! Now back to business! :D
