That's good. Where did the file come from? I've had some mp4 files that Vegas will not open no matter what I try.

Post the MediaInfo details please.
With Vegas 9 you need QuickTime 7.6.2 or 7.6.

I now have QT 7.7.8, and no video in SV, yet.
musicvid10 wrote on 9/8/2015, 8:22 PM
You need QT 7.6.2 or 7.6 to work with Vegas Pro 9.
mark003 wrote on 9/8/2015, 8:23 PM
Ahh, I understand. I'll get that version and try again.
musicvid10 wrote on 9/8/2015, 8:31 PM
Well, you may need that version. I just checked my old posts and find it was supposedly fixed beginning with 9c
Your MP4s are vanilla, should open in anything.
You can run them through Avidemux to be sure its not the files.

There's an apple download site to get 7.6 if you will search these forums.
mark003 wrote on 9/9/2015, 7:08 PM
Even with QuickTime 7.6 it still won't import the video. Grrrr

Would anyone that can edit MP4 be willing to help me and convert it?
It's just a 160 MB file. A slideshow and audio.

I'll be glad to help you. I just emailed you through here.
