Mpeg 2 audio files

I bought the MPEG plug in for Vegas and when I try to open an Mpg2 audio file
it is too noisy to use. What's up with this? Did I install it wrong? Is Any body else working with MP2
audio? Also when I use Batch converter to convert Mp2 files to wave files , the wave files are noisy.

The MPEG plug-in is for MPEG video files only. MPEG-2 audio was the predecessor to mp3 and it is something different altogether.

BTW - although it requires a separate registration, the MPEG plug-in is included with Vegas Video. If you purchased the MPEG plug-in, but you have a registered copy of Vegas Video, please call us at 1-800-577-6642 and we can verify your registration and refund your money.
