I am using VF2c to make 16:9 DVD’s with DV footage shot in 16:9 wide mode. I have tried a couple of encoders: the TPMGENC (I liked the quality), and the one built into MyDVD that came with my burner(quality was much poorer than TPMG).

I like the idea of using one of the MainConcept (?) plugins within VF, but how is it going to compare to the TPMENC encoder that I have been able to download and try for free.

I guess my dilemma is: get the MainConcept $30 version, $100 version, or the TPMG for $50...


Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!
