Happy Tuesday, Everyone!
I just installed Vegas 8 on my computer yesterday and noticed a significant issue with it today. I tried to import some MPEG-2 files for basic editing, only to find that Vegas 8 did not build any .SFK files for them, though it did show the files in the project media bin.
When dragging the files to the timeline, only the video track showed.
I then went to Vegas 7 and repeated the same procedure. Vegas 7 built the .SFK files and showed both audio and video tracks when I dragged the files to the timeline.
Anyone have an idea as tro why Vegas 8 won't show the audio on the timeline when Vegas 7 will?
