Was given a video on CD that is an MPEG file. The CD plays fine on computers with media player, Quicktime etc. I imported it into VEGAS 6c as I wanted to make it into a DVD. The video shows up fine but the audio plays with a intermitent screechy sound in it.
also the audio timeline shows no Waveform at all. I normalized the audio and it got all distorted. Properties say the audio is MPEG layer 2. Vegas shows audio at 48,000 HZ. I tried setting Vegas to 48KHZ and no luck. Any ideas as to the problem??
