However I rarely use MPEG-2 as a source for my video files, and I may
be wrong, I vaguely remember SF pulling the MPEG support out of Vegas
since they couldn't manage to get it 100% proof. There are probably
some old posts about that, scan the forum. I know I read a few posts
about it quite a while ago.

I remember reading a sales pitch somewhere that it will in the near
future? I would also like to see support for importing WMA files...
