Mpeg and V5 bug?

I don't save to mpeg so much, so I maybe wrong. I swear that I use too be able to choose render as Mpeg-1 or Mpeg-2 and then click on the "custom" button and be able to adjust mpeg settings. Now when I click on the "custom" button,when saving as Mpeg-1 or Mpeg-2 it does nothing.

Under the "about" button, it shows I'm running, "Sony Mainconcept Mpeg-1 File Format plug-in Version 2.0 (build 213)"

Anyone else see this?

I just realized the same problem here.

Do you think it could be the duplicated registry problem?

I just checked here and it really was this problem. I suggest you export your REG files before you try this.

or

There seems to be a problem with that, and it has nothing to do with registration. I fixed the problem after reading one of the threads here (can't remember exactly which). Look in your registry, and make sure it only has these entries, and nothing else. I do remember that one additional entry has to be deleted. Back up the branch (export) before you delete, so you can restore if things mess up.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sonic Foundry\MC MPEG Plug-In\1.0\License]
"CurrentKey"="XX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX"
"InstFlags"=dword:00000010

(you shoud see letters and digits instead of the X's here...)
