MPEG Custom Template not editable

Hi,

I am fairly new to Vegas 4.0, maybe I am just to stupid to do this right, but I can create custom templates for most video formats, but not for the two MPEG options. The CUSTOM button is available, the screen gives a slight flicker when I hit it, but the dialog does not open (as it does with avi or wmv etd.) Anybody got an idea? Your hints are greatly appreciated.

Jim

You must register the Main Concept plugin first, then you'll be able to create custom templates.

Hmm, shouldn't Vegas Video have rolled over the permissions from Vegas Video 3 ????

That, I don't know....Seems logical though.

Since Vegas allows you to create VCD/SVCD/DVD, it means that the problem is not with permissions. Look here:

Hi Josh,

THANX a bunch! This worked! In fact, my "InstFlag" entry read

0x00000010 (16)

instead of

dword:00000010 in your example. I left it untouched and the fix still worked like a charm! You da bomb! ;) Have a great 2004

Best Jim
