MPEG encoder missing after upgrade to XP

was using 98 and upgraded to xp. after upgrade, when opened vegas video 3.0c, mpeg encoder not there in "render as" list. how do get it back.

Afraid you'll probably have to reinstall -- in stubborn cases might even have to install it to get a good record of the install in your registry, uninstall it to get rid of any mis-settings in the registry, then install clean.
