MPEG ENCODING

Gancho wrote on 3/27/2006, 7:31 PM
I'm using studio platinum 6.0. Should I create the MPEG 2 files in Vegas before I bring them into DVD Architect? or should I bring them in as AVIs and let Architech encode them? Is there a loss of quality with either option?

Are they using the same encoding engine?

Create the MPEGs in VMS+DVD directly from the timeline. You might find better answers in the VMS forum.
