Hi all,

We do low level video editing. Well we got a new system and moved Vegas Video 2 on it fine. Until we went to render the video to an MPEG for DVD production. Now when I try register it I get this 'You must upgrade' error. I have upgraded to the latest 2.0h software. Does that mean my unlimited MPEG rendering is not unlimited? What can I do to get my MPEG working on 2.0h? I really need something do MPEGs and don't want to have to go to Preimer.

Please help.

Looks like VV2.0h is still around.

Well, somehow MPEG coming out from VV2.0 wasn't 'compliant' enough to produce your DVD; which may explain the need for upgrade.

Low or High end editing, somehow VV2.0 can't give what you need. (DVD)
But VV2.0 is able to give a decent VCD, though.

Hope the above helps.

Regards

Henry

VV2.0 uses the Ligos MPEG encoder, which has been discontinued and is probably the reason you have had trouble registering for it. Please contact Customer Support for assistance, they can help you with registering your MPEG encoder.
