Has anyone had this problem? I've downloaded and installed
the plug-in as described in the instructions, but MPEG does
not show up as a format that I can Save As or Render To.
I had a similar problem. I noticed that when I run the
install there were to ocassions in which I was asked for a
destination directory. Since I am on a multidisk system,
the pug in only worked when on both occasions I specified
the same directory, something I had not noticed the first
time around.
Not sure I understand. I just accepted the default
directory, I think.
Someone from SF told me the MPEG filter from my other
package, Studio DV (which came with my Pinnacle firewire
card), might be causing VideoFactory to be confused, and
suggested I uninstall that, try the plug-in again, then
reinstall Studio DV. I might try that. If I do, I'll let
you know what happens
