mpeg setting in Vegas Video3

Can somone help me to put the right value in rendering feild.I captured from analog
vcr and edit that and render to mpeg using Vegas video3.0c and I uesed DVDIT PE 2.52 to put it on DVD. Digital Pictures look good but video looks jettiring and looks realy bad.Please if anyone can help

How do they look when played back on your PC monitor ?
Are they better ?

If they are it sounds like you need to change the field order for your MPEG encode.

DV will be lower field first but analog will depend on the capture device & won't change for that capture device. Once you know what it is stick with that for you analog projects.
