MPEG Video imported, but no audio?

My MPEG video file is importing into Sony Vegas Platinum, but it seems there is no audio importing?

I am able to view/hear everything normally on windows media too.

Any ideas as to what is wrong?

What is the source of the video ?

This has been a common problem. If you rename the source file from whatever.mpg to whatever.vob (a.VOB file) you should be OK.
