Mpeg will not move/play

Just rendered a mpeg2 (as per usual - obiously did SOMETHING different) and the movie opens and I see the frist frambut it will not Play - I can "scrub" and see the whole movie but it will not "Play"

Instant clues?

Mostly when I render to MPEG2 it is because I want to make a DVD (using DVDA2). Does it play in DVDA2?

I don't do a lot of loading the MPEG back into Vegas - is this where you are trying to play it?

sounds like a codec issue. Can you play back other mpeg-2's?

thanks for the input - don't know at all what's going on - dragged the slider bar in MediaPlayer and it started playing - re-rendering now ... "Go Figure" would be appropriate here?!?!
