Mpeg1 plugin

Several computers and reinstalls later my Video Factory doesn't have the free mpeg1 plugin which came as a free addon a few years ago. Obviously the link is gone since Sony took over, but does anyone have the link?

It has been pulled completely as SONY/Sonic Foundry discontinued working with Ligos and cancelled all license renewal. If you contact customer service directly they can probably set you up with something that will work.

On the other hand, for around $39 or so, i would highly recommend an upgrade to Vegas Movie Studio 6. You'll be amazed at how much more it can do. That price is pretty hard to argue with. Among other things you'll get DVD Architect 3 as well.

Recently, I saw the full VMS product on sale at Best Buy for US$59. Hardly worth sweating that amount of money for a sophisticated piece of software like this.

This week outpost/frys has Visual Creation Studio Pro for $10 after rebates ($80). Visual Creation Studio Pro includes both VMSP and Paint Shop Pro X.
