I just upgraded to V4 and loaded a project that was 80% done in VV3. I finished the project and rendered it using the VCD NTSF template. The project (all still shot .png files with pan and zoom) is about 3:30 long and it got to about 1:45 in the render process and stopped with an unknown error. Here are some things I've tried:
1. Rendered the project as .avi and it worked fine. I then put the .avi on the timeline in a new project and rendered to mpeg1 using the VCD NTSC template. I didn't get the error, but there are some places in the project where the upper 1/3 of the still shot gets a pixelated blur while the rest is fine. It's not consistent to just one still shot - I had one still get pixelated and during a 6 second pan of it, and then it cleared up.
2. Moved the still at 1:45 to a new track and muted it and re-rendered. This worked, but obviously I have a blank spot. Tried deleting it and then reinserting it, same error problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'm using V4 on a Athlon 1.0 ghz, 768mb RAM, 7200 rpm system drive and video drive, WinXP Pro.
