MPEG2 DVDA 24P Rendering with Audio, How?

I'm new to DVDA but experienced with Vegas 6.0. I'm trying to render a project in MPEG2 DVDA 24P... and it asks you to render the audio seperate. OK, So I render the same file as an audio file too, PCM wav 24bit 48K. How do I combine them in DVDA? I've tried dragging a sample video file onto the menu, with the audio file dropped on top of it. I also tried putting them in the timeline and get no waves or sound. I can't find any info on how to do this in either manual.

If you render the audio as AC3 and give it the exact same filename (with .ac3 extension) as the video file and DVD Architect will automatically add the audio with the video. Alternately, after you drop the MPEG2 on the menu, double-click on it to open it up on the timeline. Then drop your PCM wave file into the audio track on the timeline. I’m not sure why this didn’t work for you.

Skratch,

As JR said, I'm not sure why it didn't take the first time. If you haven't yet found a solution, I'd delete the audio track and create a new one. Then, from the explorer view, find your audio file and drag it into the newly created audio track in the timeline.

I use DVDA2 and so far have not had audio problems when doing this.

Hope it helps,

Frank
