I heard that to improve the quality of the dvd/cd for tv viewing - you should have mpeg2 codec - and somewhere I read that for Vegas it uses Mainconcept Mpegencoder
I must be doing something wrong - I got the above encodeder - it "appears" to be a standalone utility for converting TO mpeg2, does not seem to offer mpeg 2 within Vegas for rendering a movie - I still only get the mpeg1 choice!??
I'm obviously on the wrong track somehow ~ what, where, to get the mpeg2 encoder that works with Vegas, and install so that it's available to Vegas(4)
Using the mainconcept Mpegencoder to convert a movie - I can't them just copy that converted file to cd can I ? ooops sorry - showing my total lack of knowledge there! but finding all this a steep learning curve~ :(
