MS 4 Question

I've been reading a lot of posts regarding problems in MS4. I am still at 3.0a and am trying to decide if I should bite the bullet and upgrade to MS4. This will also require an additional expense in my upgrading from Win 98SE.

With all of the problems being posted, does anyone have any sense as to whether it is problems with the software or just getting used to a new version? Version 3.0 has been just so darned stable, I don't want to move into something that is going to cause problems.

Thanks in advance...
Al

So far the only differences I'm aware of are it's integrated with DVDA Studio (I'm happy with DVD-Lab, so I don't care) and the 3D transitions, which are nice but not exciting (IMHO, of course). I'm sticking with v3!

Thanks Ian.

I am wondering if it is worth paying for the upgrade even though I may not use it right away. That way, when I do upgrade from Win98SE, I will have it and by that time, there will probably be updates to MS 4.

I think Sony are very generous with their upgrades and don't put a time limit on them. This is from their upgrade page - "Upgrade any version of VideoFactory or Screenblast ...."
