I've been troubleshooting this issue for over 3 hours now, with multiple instances of trying to split the file I'm trying to edit.
The file size is 2.03GB, and what's happening is when I choose to create a project and slap the file into the timeline, the file goes in perfectly fine. It's when I try to do anything to it that my CPU ramps up to 100%. It's already built peaks, but when I've tried to cut the file into 2 separate files the application doesn't respond.
I've also tried cutting, which works and opening another instance of MSP12 and pasting into the second instance, but that also causes the second instance to crash.
I've tried trimming, and that gets me to the half way mark. When trying to work from there it crashes. When trying to save the trimmed file and edit it, it crashes.
Is there any way I can split this file, as from what I can tell it's too large for my PC to handle with editing. Which also doesn't make sense, since I've edited larger files and have combined video files totalling to 4GB+.
The videos before editing also work perfectly with WMP and Realtime.
Thanks for any support, will answer back to anyone's requests as soon as I can!
EDIT : May have found the culprit, the video I'm trying to edit is at 120 fps, but runs perfectly on WMP. How can I drop the fps? D:
EDIT 2 : WMP states in it's properties it's at 60fps but when opened in a project with MSP12 it states 120.000 fps progressive. Why is this happening?
