MSP13: "Scroll" audio within event?

I'm making a video with 30 second clips of songs. I'd like to be able to scroll the audio from the song within the 30 second event, until I get the desired start point within the song. Is this possible? I know what I want could be done with the Split command, but I already have the 30 second events laid out, beginning at the start of each song.

If I've understood you correctly

Unlock grouping (Config button - ignore event grouping)

Slip the audio with Alt + move with mouse.

Many thanks, Eric. Exactly what I wanted to do. Figured it was available, but never tried the ALT key. :)
