MTC 2.0c disaster

Hi,

I just upgraded from LE to Vegas Audio and use it to send MTC to Logic. This was working great in LE but after 20 bars it screws up really badly so Vegas Audio is now unusable for me.

Sometimes if I stop Vegas Audio the MTC just carries right on being generated.

I'm currently on 2.0c and have just purchased my $120 Win98 to Win98 Scam Edition upgrade. Was this a known issue with 2.0c or do I need to look elsewhere in my system?

Hi,

Well it seems what happens is that if the Loop Playback is left on and no loop region is actually defined, at bar 17 the MTC loops or does something crazy.

If I stop playback the MTC seems to loop back to the beginning, Logic plays even though Vegas is stopped.

Try updating your version of Vegas to 2.0g, the most recent one available:

This may help resolve the erratic behavior you speak of.

Thanks Nick,

I need to upgrade to Windows Scam Edition first, but actually I'd be surprised if it's fixed, 'cos I reckon there may be a bit of code that keeps the MTC looping even if the Audio isn't.

Took me two b****y days to find the cause, though!
