Multi camera edit - only one camera view showing

I am trying to do a multi camera edit. I have done it before but it's been a while.

When I go to "tools" and select multi camera edit only one camera view will show at a time. If i mute the top track camera 2 will show but I can't get the preview window to split so I can see both at once.

Any suggestions would be appreciated>

After your tracks are lined up (synchronized) on the timeline, you need to Create a Multicamera Track.

It's been a while, and I'm not at my Vegas machine right now, but I think I remember this. It sounds like you have the video on separate tracks? If I recall, you need to select all video tracks, THEN do the "multi cam edit", it will stack the individual tracks as takes and show them in separate windows in preview. Try "Help" and look for multicam if I got it wrong.

Thanks. I created the multi camera track but I forgot to select the tracks I wanted.
