Multi-camera locking up Vegas Pro 12

I wasn't doing anything fancy, it just started crashing on me and suggesting I install the latest Vegas Pro 12 (build 700) which I already have. Any ideas? I have a late model i7, 16gb, Geforce 980 ti

I find I have to change the RAM setting in prefs to 0 or I get crashes with GPU on when using multicam.

Dump nVidia CUDA and get an AMD Radeon card with OPEN CL. Vegas takes great advantage of OPEN CL and especially with the AMD cards. You will never look back. The ASUS Radeon R9-390x is fantastic.

I had a Quadro FX4600, a GTX 660 and a GTX580. I have done 5 Cam, AVCHD, mov and MXF edits with issues in the past and now I can play and edit real-time at Full Res setting. Render times are faster at 20 to 45 frames/second with 1080-24p renders. I now render in 1/3 the time.
