multi-select clips

Does this work for anybody?

"Multi-select clips in the Vegas explorer or Media pool, in the oder of your choice

right-click/ drag them to the timeline"

The idea would be that the clips go into the timeline in the order of selection, eh?

My VV3 does something funny ...

I click and select clips in a random order 7,2,5,8,4

I drag them into the timeline...

The are arranged in the timeline 2,4,5,7,8

(Looks like acending sort, whether numbers or letters.)

If you open first in media pool, use the comment field to number, now click the comment header to arrange in ascending/descending order.
Now drag from media pool to timeline. It should come in in the right order.
cheers

Thank you for your reply...

It appears the random select also works in that view (and that view only).
