Multi track audio injesting ApplePro Res 422

A little background.
I record and live stream events for a client that would like to begin to translate live into other languages. I believe I've found a way to capture the video with up to 8 channels of audio using an HD-SDI audio embedder and can save it to BlackMagic's HyperDeck Studio.

Here are my questions.
Since I have limited options for file types, can I use ApplePro Res 422(HQ) and import that directly into Vegas with the different languages?
Will the channels of audio drop onto different audio tracks or is there something else I need to do to make it work?
Are there any questions I need to be asking that are not obvious?

Just curious, but have you tried it yet? And if so, what happened?

I have not tried it yet. I'm getting ready to purchase the equipment and wanted to know if it will work easily or what the solutions to potential problems might be.

Before you bank on this - you need some field answers. One of the issues is what format will carry multi-track audio to the VegasPro timeline. To date some flavors of the MXF container can do this.

Will ApplePro Res 422(HQ) with 8 or more embedded audio tracks? If not I'll need to convert it to mxf. What could make the conversion?
