We are currently working in a Pro Tools environment and are
in need of two new audio workstations. It is very
difficult to justify spending multiple thousands when, for
a quarter of the price we can get Vegas and a few Laylas or
something similar if they are stable. However our position
in the market does not allow us to experience any kind of
problems within our workstation environments. The
platforms need to be stable
and reliable. We can't afford to lose any time as I am sure
is the case with every one else in the pro market.
After we evaluate the software we will post a list of
questions and suggestions to address.
If anyone has any immediate comparisons or concerns which
address P.T. (or other workstation workhorse apps.)verses
this type of platform, please post it for discussion.
