Multicam editing

I have created a (two camera, one audio) multi cam project following the tutorials - synchronising audio, enabling multitrack editing, creating multicam track. All worked ok with the preview showing the two video tracks. However, I had to save and close the project and thought I would start editing it another day. When I came back to the project, the preview only shows one track. The timeline shows one merged video track. I cannot click on the original video tracks to create a multicam track (option to do so is greyed out). Not sure how I can edit the multicam track as the preview window doesn't show the two tracks. Can anyone help please

That would sound like you already created the multicam track. In that case Vegas will show only one track on the timeline. No worries, press CTRL+SHIFT+D and you should see the multicam preview. This keyboard combinations enables toggling the preview between mulitcam view for editing and the final preview.
