Multicam Unsync'ed Due To Glitch & Flat waveform?

Okay. I converted my timeline to a multicam edit timeline with 3 take options. I synced everything up and all is going well then cam 2 produces a glitch that very much looks like a frame drop/stutter (even though capture 6.0 did not report any dropped frames). I have edited about 20 minutes of a 45 minute production when this glitch occurred. Before I would just cut out that portion of that track and move the remainder of the audio/video to where it should be to sync back up. With takes (in multicam mode) I do not know how to do this. If I could revert back to multiple tracks, I could fix it and be on my merry way. Any suggestions?

I did save a copy before I converted to multicam so I can fix it, but I lose my edits.

Also, on a different note, I captured some footage and the audio builds a peak and displays a flat line but if I zoom way in I get the waveform just how it should be. The rest of the capture shows up just fine as does the wave form.

With regard to the waveform: What happens if you "normalize" it? If nothing, look to see if there is a loud spike in the waveform; split just before the spike, then try normalizing the first part of the audio line. I've experienced what you're describing and found at times that a sound will be so loud (and clip so badly), that you have to get rid of it before the waveform will show.

Scares the hell out of you when you load a clip, look at the waveform and see a flat line, knowing that you had audio when you shot it.
