Multicamera - fade transition & specific issue of muted video clip

Hello,

1) How to make a fade transition in Multicamera view. When I overlap two videos (I mean put last 3 sec. of first video on first 3 seconds of second video), I don`t see any fade transition in Multicamera view. How can I do this in Multicamera view?

2) I think there is an issue in Multicamera view in Vegas Pro 16.

Let me explain it step by step:

a) I select 3 video tracks, go to Create Multicamera view

b) then I eneble Multicamera view

c) I watch Multicamera view and type 1/2/3 on keyboard to select the proper video

d) then I go to menu and click "Expand layer tracks". I get the message, something like: "Do you want to remove the tracks for later use?". I click YES. I turn off Multicamera view.

e) when I do this I see that muted video layers cannot be unmuted. I don`t see video preview of the muted video part of the track.

Do you know how to unmute such video clips in that case? How to make the video preview visible in that case? Are that any keyboard shortcut for it?

Please help me
Regards
Marcin

My first video software was Pinnacle, next one was Sony Vegas 8 (I am not sure if remember it correctly). I am also a developer and wedding movie operator and editor. For example: I have created an Android app which let me control Vegas Pro rendering progress level on Android smartphone. I created it for fun, because I also love programming. I also created my own plugin for Audio To Text feature specified usage from Vegas Pro 19. I created proxy creation plugin which uses multiple GPU threads (maximum 3) to create proxy files for Vegas Pro. I also written many others plugin/softwares which enhance my video editing, also wedding editing.

1.To see the transition you have to exit Multicamera mode momentarily (Ctrl + Shift + D) View your transition and then return to multicamera mode (Ctrl + Shift + D)

2. There is no problem in multicam mode. That is the way it works. To view the mute video, select the video and right-click it, then go to Switches and uncheck Mute.
