Can't tell you what you're doing wrong if you don't tell us what you're doing period. ;-)

For what it's worth, there is another multicamera thread going on right now that has step-by-step instructions on how to do it.

The problem is that the Vegas Help section explains the a critical step from a conceptual perspective rather than a granular step-by-step method. I read the line that contains "select the tracks from which you want to create a multicamera track (or press Ctrl+A to select all tracks)." several times, but it was forum member Ralph Nelson's step-by-step in the "Multicamera Editing with 2 long takes in Pro 8" thread brought the message home:

1. Sync your tracks.
2. Name your tracks (CAM 1, CAM 2 or WIDE, CU. or...).
3. TOOLS>Enable Multicamera Edit.
4. Control Click each track to select both, or three or four.
5. TOOLS>Create Multicamera track. You should have your tracks displayed in the monitor, the one on top with a border.
6. Edit by clicking on the displayed tracks in the monitor, or track number.

Thanks for the help, Rob and Ralph.
