Hi, I am about to purchase a mulitrack recorder like the Korg D888 for Dolby Digital productions, but wonder how to sync the multitracks to the audio signal of my DVX100B.
Several wireless mikes I use are about 30 meters away from the camera and other gear and in some case I can get a feed from the end mix drirectly form the table.
This Edirol R-4 device lets you start/stop the camera but that's also no solution as I capture video directly on a laptop, not on tape.
The Edirol R-4 is quite an expensive clever little device with only 4 tracks though.
To put in other words, I want to use two recording devices both recoding audio tracks (8 in all) and one capturing the video.
How to sync this all?
Any experienced suggestions are welcome.
Also for Korg D888 alternatives that will make syncing a breeze.
