I have Studio edition and pretty certain it does not have that functionality.

That's correct. Those functions aren't available in the Studio version.

That answers one question. Now, is there a way to buy DVDA 4.5 or 5.0 non-studio without buying Vegas Pro? I've had no luck finding it standalone on the site.

Unfortunately, no. It is only sold as bundle with Vegas.

Well, that sucks large. I can't think of a DVD I own that doesn't have multiple audio tracks. Not sure why that would be cut out.

I don't remember it being in previous versions of the studio stuff, was it?

But it's not in because it's not used, it's so you buy the better version.

Coming from studio isn't much of a discount, but you could probably find copies of Vegas 8 + DVDA for cheap now. Maybe e-bay. If you buy a used one the only catch it that it can't be upgraded (but there's not much more to do to a DVD since 4.5 came out, it can do almost (ALMOST) everything).

Since DVDA Pro is a perfectly viable product, independent of Vegas Pro, I really don't understand why it isn't offered on its own. I don't think many people who are happy with their editing program are going to buy Vegas just to get DVDA Pro.
