Multiple Formats

I am trying to produce a video as a DVD that I would like to play in Romania. Does anyone know if they use PAL or NTSC? Can you render a video in multiple formats and burn them to the same DVD so that it will play no matter what video format the player uses?

You cannot use DVDA to burn PAL and NTSC on the same disc. Most people distribute NTSC worldwide without any problems.

The dvd spec does not allow for mixing of formats on a single disc--it has to be either PAL or NTSC.

Most PAL players can play NTSC discs, most/many NTSC players can't play PAL discs. Obviously not all PAL players will handle NTSC discs, so the 'safest' would be to make a PAL disc.
