Multiple Resolutions on Same Bluray?

I want to assume that it's fine to author a bluray disc with files at different (supported) resolutions. On the other hand, you know what they say about "ass"uming.

For this project (a dance recital), most content was shot and will be rendered/delivered at 720-60P. However for some custom motion graphics and media files that will be on menus and extras, I want to use full 1080P at 30 fps. Is there any reason I can't mix files at different supported resolutions and also have a playlist with those different files respected and played back according to their native media settings? I will be using DVD Architect 6 and have only authored one prior Bluray project (all files at 720P) because most of my authoring work in the past has been for SD DVDs where this question didn't come up.

I believe it should work but haven't done it. Don't be afraid to experiment. Just make sure that you render BD compatible video and audio files in Vegas first, so that DVDA does not have to re-render.

I can confirm it should work as I've mixed Blu-ray files and VOB files taken from DVDs onto a Blu-ray disk without problems. Provided they are compatible DVDA just 'copies' the files over in their original format although they become m2ts files. Then when you play the disk your Blu-ray player upscales them like it would if they were on a DVD.
