Multiple Tracks

I am at the beginning of a new movie. I captured video from two cameras and then loaded them into Vegas. When I created my working title I could see the video from Camera #1 on track 1, the audio from Camera #1 on track 2, the video from Camera #2 on track 3 and the audio from Camera #2 on track 4. I saved it as a project and my "Copy Media Options" is marked for the "Create trimmed copies of source media". I opened the project today and I can boh of the video tracks but only one audio track. The audio from Camera #1 (on track 2) is not visible but I can hear it. Any ideas why I can't see the audio file like I could yesterday or like I can see from Camera #2 on track 4? If I can't see it but can hear it, will it be there when I am done and ready to render?

Well, if you can hear it then it's there. Is there by chance an empty event there? That would look like an empty white box with no audio peaks.

You could try to rebuild audio peaks by pressing Shift + F5, and watch in the lower left corner of the screen and see if the scroll bar indicates progress. You might also check to see if you didn't delete the .sfk files in the folder where your project lives--those are the audio peaks. Also, open the help index and search for "rebuilding peaks" to read more about this.
