Must Needed Feature In Future Related To Adjustment Events

I am recently working on a subtitle project on a short video.

i notice and get and idea of a new feature which if come can give so much flexibility to users.

Look at this image

my subtitles are BLACK and my BG is WHITE.

Now i want to reverse these colors so instead of changing them manually i add INVERT Effect on Adjustment Event on same place

It reverse colors but it also inverted that below image.

SO HERE IS THE CATCH.

If we can skip a track or multiple tracks from ADJUSTMENT EVENTS.

give an addition power to adjustment events like (clipping mask feature in photoshop)

with that we can tell adjustment event to which track it will be applied.

we will have so many flexibilities in our workflow.

@iEmby It seems you don't know that Vegas Pro has a feature called Parent Track. With it, you can limit the track influence of the adjustment tracks/events. Search for it on YouTube and you can get quite a few tutorials.

really i only use Parent Track to create any motion poster or 3D compositing or stick one track with others to get together,, never think about adjustment events and other things can also work with it
