Mute all tracks

I am editing my first project with Vegas and I did something that made the timeline mute all tracks when I click on just one of the mute buttons. It is probably something very simple which I overlooked. The mute buttons all worked independently before. I did a search on this forum but did not find a post regarding this matter. TIA for the response.

When all of the tracks are selected, they will all mute if you mute one. Just deselect the other tracks. Or, just press CTRL-SHIFT-A to deselect everything.

Thanks. I knew it was simple- when I selected all tracks I did not notice the subtle color change of the track headers.
