This is not a question, but rather an answer that I discovered.
The Problems:
I selected all, did a move, and then an undo. The next things I know, whenever I press a mute button for video or audio or whenever I pressed the "solo" button (looks like "!") on a video, then all videos or audios would be muted. The documentation clearly says that the software will mute all the tracks selected, but I had only selected one track. I tried every selection that I could think of. I even changed projects and the error appeared in the next project too, but there was only one track selected.
The Answer:
I clicked twice on the name of a track (like "Voice, Music") as though I was going to edit the name. Then I pressed the Escape key to cancel out of the edit. Presto! My mute and solo buttons now work like they're supposed to on only one track.
I hope that helps someone who searches the forums some day.
