MXF style files not in order in Veg 10

I was wondering if there was an option to make this right:

I convert P2 MXF files to raylight .avi and it uses the same file name. EG 00021V.

Windows explorer incorrectly reads that file above as 21, not 02.

Vegas 8 explorer reads it as 02, correctly.

Vegas 10 explorer reads it as 21, incorrectly.

Can I fix this-or do I need to submit this to SCS as a bug?

It is going to read it the same way Windows Explorer does because it is written to use the Windows components.

While it is written to use Windows components, both Vegas 7 and 8 put the files in the correct numerical order, while 10 does not.

I don't have 9, so I don't know if it is the case with that one as well. At any rate, its a PITA.

Does anyone have any suggestions to fix it? Or is 10 stuck that way?

I have to assume that it is the version of the windows component that has changed. When you compile a program with the libraries from Microsoft, it uses the version current at that time. I may be completely wrong and welcome correction from someone out there.

Other than renumbering them or using another file browser I don't know of a solution. You could use a different file browser and just drag the file from that browser to the timeline. Vegas is very easy-going that way.

Interesting, haven't actually tried 10 on Vista or win7-maybe that will fix it?

However, running 7,8 and 10 versions on the same XP PC only Vegas10 puts the order wrong.

I guess I could preview and trim in Vegas8, then copy paste into 10 as a work around. But it feels like there should be something I can do to fix this, some hidden option that I accidentally turned on or off at some point.
