Hi,
After some difficulties i just done my 1st DVD compilation and i have 2 problems:
1) A small problem : DVD come back to the menu after each chapter played, how to prevent this ? i saw that end action destination is set to most recent menu and destination item is set to start. Are these parameter i must change for each media ?
2) A BIG problem : i have a light delay between sound and image, it is perceptible on singer mouth do you know why this ?
(I use vob files extracted with dvd shrink from different dvd and i have not the problem when i create a DVD with Nero with these same vob files).
My Project is in PAL format / AC3 , the VOB come from 3 dvd PAL, one have DolbySuround5.1 sound, the 2nd have PCM format and the last i don't know exactly. When i have created the dvd DVDA have recompessed the audio track wich was in Dolby Surround and it seems i have the delay only on the oher file wich have not been recompressed by DVDA, i mean the track wich come from the 2 last dvd.
Thanks for any help.
VINCENT

Chapters are not self-contained pieces of media -- they're cue points to tell your DVD player where to start playing. There's no information on where to stop.

To use your "chapters" as individual pieces of media, you need to add one copy of the original video to your project for each segment you want available -- DVDA will only put the file on the disc once, so no need to worry about running out of space because of this -- and set In / Out points accordingly.

The simple way to do this if you've already added the video to a menu and inserted chapter points, is to go to that menu, copy the main button for the video, and paste it as many times as you need. Do the pasting on whichever menu you want to access these clips from. (Ie, if you created a Scene Selection Menu, go to it, delete all the automatically created buttons, and paste the copies of your main button.

Then navigate into each of those and set the In / Out points (the yellow triangles over the timeline).
