I do the 48 Hour Film Project every year in Asheville. You have 48 hours to create a 4-7 minute short film from an unknown genre, line of dialog, prop, and character. I shot it with a Canon HV20 in 24p hdv. Used Vegas 7d for all editing. Hope you enjoy it.

More than decent. Can you give us an idea on your lighting? The HV20 is pretty unforgiving in low light. Nice work - it does a great job setting the mood. I'd be interested in knowing your genre, prop and line? My brother does the NYC 48hour film fest every year.
Regarding the lighting, I just used compact flourescent bulbs with clamp on work lamps like you find at Wal-Mart or Home Depot. Nothing fancy. Some of the lights were direct while others were bounced. Set ups were very quick and dirty. I shot it while my girlfriend and another friend acted. A total crew of three people. I did the writing, directing, DPed, sound, editing and voice over. The dolly I used was home made with about $30 of material using metal rails mostly. I edited with Vegas. I intentionally over lit each scene to have a little room to dim it as needed in post.
Genre: Film de Femme - required a strong female lead
Character: Chuck or Chelsea Raynal, Printer
Prop: an ashtray
Line of Dialogue: "Is that all you've got to say?"
The teeth were fake plastic ones like you probably had as as kid. I wasted most of a day trying to make an elaborate werewolf makeup and just couldn't finish it in time. Only had 48 hours total.
